Privacy Policy

Redirect Sniffer processes URLs to follow redirects and report their destinations. This policy explains the data used to operate the service.

Data we process

We process submitted URLs, redirect responses, timing information, browser user agent, referral page, and a one-way hash derived from the request IP address. Account users also provide a name and email address. Billing details are processed by Dodo Payments; Redirect Sniffer stores only provider identifiers and subscription status needed to grant access.

URL privacy

Submitted URLs may contain confidential data. Known secret-like query parameters—such as tokens, passwords, signatures, API keys, authorization codes, and session values—are replaced with a redaction marker before URLs are stored. Avoid submitting private links unless you are authorized to test them.

Retention

Anonymous redirect logs are retained for up to 30 days. Account history and monitor checks are retained for up to one year. Billing webhook records are retained for up to 90 days. You can delete individual history, bulk jobs, and monitors from your account.

Service providers

We use infrastructure providers to host the service, Dodo Payments for billing, and privacy-focused analytics to understand aggregate site usage. Providers process data under their own terms and only as needed to deliver their services.

Security and rights

We use reasonable technical safeguards, including signed billing webhooks, encrypted sessions, rate limiting, and restrictions against requests to private network addresses. To request account data access or deletion, contact us through the contact page.
